Our Office
At LDB Dental we follow the Manitoba Dental Association Fee Guide for all our dental services. All information will be provided about all fees and payment plans before treatment is scheduled. LDB Dental direct bills your insurance so you don't have to stress about that dealing with insurance companies. We also accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express Debit and Cash as payment.
We understand life happens but please don’t make it a habit of missing booked appointments. At LDB Dental we are a busy office with a loyal patient base so short cancelling does not allow us to fit people who need treatment. We have a loyalty program for patients who come regular checkups and cleanings and do not short cancel. If you have given too short of notice or had multiple cancellations a fee of 75 dollars may be applied to your account.

Dental Services
At LDB Dental we offer radiography, which offers the lowest radiation of any medical x-rays. A routine exam consists of four x-rays, which is about 0.005 mSv, less radiation than one day of natural background radiation. It is also about the same amount of radiation exposure from a short airplane flight (~1-2 hrs). The Canadian Dental Association recommends that patients who are not having problems have dental x-rays performed annually. Proper shielding is used in the office, which makes the potential risk even lower.
Dental insurance is confusing. We accept every type Insurance at LDB Dental. We here at LDB Dental will try to navigate and simplify the insurance benefits that you are entitled to. We will contact your insurance with you to get a break down of your coverage. REMEMBER YOUR BENEFITS EXPIRE ON A YEARLY BASIS so BOOK TODAY to use them to their full potential. You paid for them so use them.

Continued research has led to a decrease in most cancers. However, oral cancer occurrences have been on a steady rise in North America. Note that 25 percent of all oral cancers occur in people who do not smoke and who only drink alcohol occasionally. At LDB Dental regular checkups and cleanings help us monitor your overall oral health. We take intra-oral photos and note size and shape of all lesions. Regular checkups and cleanings are best way to catch early signs of cancer.
